Indian Embassy to provide Rs 40 million for a Morang school

According to the Indian Embassy, Rs 40 million worth of financial assistance will be provided for the construction of a school building in Morang district. The Embassy is providing the funds to Janata Secondary School in the district.  The Morang District Development Committtee (DDC) has informed the media that a school building with 16 rooms will be built with the assistance.

The school is operated by the Gandhi Ashram Sewa Guthi. The assistance has been approved by the Finance Ministry and the DDC will soon sign an agreement with the Indian Embassy for the release of the funds. The government of India has been providing millions of Rupees annually to many social projects in the country.

According to the Gandhi Ashram Sewa Guthi, 900 students are currently studying at Janata Secondary School. The Indian Embassy has been providing assistance to the Guthi and the surrounding areas in recent years.
